About The Event

The 7th Annual Carmel Marathon Weekend will offer a marathon, half marathon, 8K and 5K. All races utilize the same start and finish line allowing spectators to see the opening ceremonies and start then cheer as they finish. Finishers for all events will receive a commemorative medal. The finish line DJ will keep the area hopping with the VIP area and Oskar Blues Brewing Beer Garden within the finish line view. There is also the Center Green, a beautiful grassy area to stretch your legs and relax just a few yards from the finish line area.

Where

All races will utilize the same start/finish line at the Palladium at the Center for Performing Arts (3rd Avenue and City Center Drive). Click here for course maps.

Awards Presentations

The awards for the 8K and 5K will be presented at 8:30 a.m. on the west entrance of the Palladium by the Tom Wood car display. The awards presentation for the Carmel Half Marathon will take place at 10:30 a.m., with the Carmel Marathon awards to follow at 11:15 a.m. See above for age group awards.

Hotel Shuttle Info

Shuttles will run on race day from the Renaissance, Courtyard and Residence Inn to the Start/Finish area 5:30 - 8 a.m. Shuttles will also be available for packet pickup on Friday, April 21. Click here for more information on shuttles.

Parking and Start/Finish Area

Ample free parking is available all around the start/finish; south on Third Avenue in the parking garage and north on Third Avenue in a Woods Wire gravel lot on the east side of the road. All parking locations are less than .4 miles away!

After Party and VIP Area

The Oskar Blues Brewing Beer Garden and VIP area are located in front of the Salon 01 at the finish line. You must have a VIP label on your bib to access the VIP area. All participants over the age of 21 are allowed in the Beer Garden. Celebrate your run with others as you watch the field cross the finish line.
