For 2012, the Championship Weekend 8k will offer a special purse and bonus for Indiana runners who break the course record.

2012 Carmel Marathon Championship Weekend 8K Course Map

All runners and walkers participating in the Championship Weekend 8k will utilize the same start and finish location as the Carmel Marathon and Carmel Half Marathon. Participants can begin entering their corrals at 7:15AM for the 8:00AM start.

Participants using baby strollers or baby joggers must start behind all runners and walkers.

The 8k course will be open until 9:40AM (18 minute pace/mile) and offers a relatively flat and fast course including sections on Keystone Boulevard, The Monon Trail, Carmel Arts and Design Downtown District, and will finish at the Palladium.

Technical shirts from ASICS will be provided for all participants, and as you cross the finish line you will receive the inaugural, collectors-edition Carmel Marathon Championship Weekend 8K medal!
