RACE DAY INFORMATION
Carmel Marathon Weekend offers a top-100 U.S. marathon, half marathon, the Indiana Spine Group 10K, Indiana Members Credit Union 5K and a marathon relay! All races will utilize the same start and finish line at the Palladium, at the corner of 3rd Avenue and City Center Drive, in Carmel, Indiana.
Carmel Marathon Presented by Franciscan Health - 8:10 a.m. Start
The specially-designed 26.2 mile USATF certified course (USATF certification #IN18005TDK) is fast! It was ranked in 2012 by MarathonGuide.com as the 30th best course in the US to qualify for Boston and is now the 2nd largest marathon in Indiana! In 2017, roughly 21 percent of Carmel Marathon finishers met or beat their Boston-qualifying standard. In 2018, that percent grew to 22.5 percent.
The marathon has a 6:30 time limit (15:00/mile pace).
Carmel Half Marathon - 8:10 a.m. Start
The 13.1 mile certified course (USATF certification #IN18006TDK) starts at the same time and place as the full marathon. The Half Marathon has been tabbed by many as the fastest half marathon event in the spring because of its moderate field size. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit (15:00/mile pace).
Indiana Spine Group 10K - 8:00 a.m. Start
The ISG 10K will utilize the same start and finish as the marathon and half marathon and will provide an ultra-fast course!
Indiana Members Credit Union 5K - 8:00 a.m. Start
The traditional 5K distance is the perfect distance for all ages and experience levels. The 5K begins and ends with the marathon, half marathon and 10K so that runners and walkers may enjoy the same celebratory experience at the start and finish.
OVERALL AND AGE GROUP AWARDS
The Top Three Podium Awards (top three male and female overall) for all events - marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K - will be presented at the finish line announcer's stand.
Age Group awards for all events will be available at the Results Tent and will not be mailed after the event.
Podium awards for the 10K and 5K will be presented at the finish line announcer's stand. Podium Awards for the Half Marathon will take place at 11am and at 11:45 am for the marathon.
BEER GARDEN
Enjoy your accomplishments and share your stories at the CRRG Beer Garden next to the finish line. This is the place to share your accomplishment with family and new friends you’ve met on the course and have a complimentary, celebratory post-race beer, or other provided beverages!
