The below Elite Athlete packages are offered for this year's Carmel Marathon Weekend. For Questions or to apply for Elite status, please contact info@carmelmarathon.com

Documentation showing proof of times must be submitted for review and approval. Qualifying times must have been achieved within 36 months of the event. We do not offer travel benefits or hotel accommodations to elite athletes.

Qualifying Standards:

Carmel Marathon presented by Franciscan Health

Women: 2:58

Men: 2:40

Carmel Half Marathon

Women: 1:23

Men: 1:12

​

No Elite Athlete packages offered for the Indiana Spine Group 10k or Indiana Members Credit Union 5k.

Elite Packages

All Elite athletes will receive a comped entry to the race of their choice, an elite bib number, a dedicated warmup space on the start line, and other benefits on race day.

Cash Purse Payouts

Marathon:

1st place male and female: $750

2nd place male and female: $500

3rd place male and female: $250

​

Half Marathon:

1st place male and female: $500

2nd place male and female: $300

3rd place male and female: $200

​

10k:

1st place male and female: $150

2nd place male and female: $100

3rd place male and female: $75

​

Cash awards are not available for the Carmel 5k.

Course Record Bonus

In addition to the cash purse listed above, a course record bonus will be paid to the winner of the event if the course record is broken:

Marathon and Half Marathon: $300

10k: $150

Age Group Awards

Age group awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each age group:
