Carmel Marathon

Start time: 8:10 a.m.
Profile: Flat to rolling / a few hills
Time Limit: 6.5 hours (15:00 / mile pace)
The Carmel Marathon course starts and finishes north of the Palladium on City Center Drive. The course highlights picturesque Hamilton County, Carmel Parks, and the Arts and Design District before returning to the Center for the Performing Arts. Runners pass by the start / finish line at the halfway point, getting a boost from spectators before starting the second half of the course.
In 2024, over 21% of finishers ran a Boston Marathon qualifying time, and the Carmel Marathon has been in the top 10 of Boston qualifying events.

The marathon course is flat to rolling and highlights some of the most beautiful parts of Carmel.
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be at the following locations on course, and include water and Lemon Lime Gatorade Endurance Formula.

There are 4 aid stations that will also feature Pure Fuel: Mile 5.4, mile 10.4, mile 15, and mile 20.9.
Pacers
There will be pacers for the marathon running the times below. Pacers will line up in the start corrals with signs indicating their pace and target finish time. Running with a pacer is free and no additional registration is required -- just show up at the start line and introduce yourself to your pacer.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall and the top 3 in each age group for each gender category (Male, Female, and Non-Binary).
In addition, there will be equal prize purses for the top 3 male and female finishers, per USATF standards:
1st place overall Male and Female: $1,000
2nd place overall Male and Female: $750
3rd place overall Male and Female: $500
Course Record Bonus: $300 in addition to prize purse above
