Race Day Parking
-
Free parking is located all around the Start/Finish area near the Palladium. Please note: the intersection of City Center Drive and Third Avenue will be closed for the event. Plan your route to the parking garages in advance, and remember your GPS will not know the road closures on race morning. Click here for all temporary road restrictions.

Race Day Shuttles
-
Complimentary shuttles are available on race day to/from the Home2Suites and Renaissance Hotel. Participants staying at the Hilton Garden Inn are encouraged to use the shuttle at the nearby Renaissance Hotel.

Shuttles will run on race day to the Start/Finish area from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All buses will drop-off runners at Gradle Drive and 3rd Avenue (2 blocks south of the Start/Finish line). These shuttles will run on a continuous basis. After 8 a.m. the shuttle will run approximately once per hour through 2:30 p.m.

Only participants staying in the official hotels are allowed to use the shuttles.

7:30 a.m. Runners to their corrals

7:45 a.m. Opening ceremonies begin

7:52 a.m. National anthem

7:55 a.m. Final pre-race announcements

8:00 a.m. 5K and 10K start

8:10 a.m. Half marathon and full marathon start

Awards for top three podium finishers will be presented following their finishes at the Elite Lounge, inside the Pedcor Management Corporation building (west of the start/finish line).

Franciscan Health Course Medical Team
-
We are thankful to have the experienced staff of Franciscan Health on course to assist our participants throughout the day. Ten medical stations are located on course, along with medical personnel on bikes. Please flag them down if you need assistance.

Aid Stations
-
Each aid station will contain water, Gatorade and portable toilets. All aid stations are highlighted on the course maps HERE. The aid stations will be staffed with medical personnel from Franciscan Health.

Portable Toilets/Restrooms
-
Start/Finish: Portable toilets are located on the NE and SE corners of Carter Green on the southside of the Palladium.

Course/Aid Stations: Portable toilets are located at every aid station on the course. Additionally, the three permanent bathrooms located on the Monon Greenway will be open for those on the marathon course.

Upgrades/Downgrades and Transfers

Upgrades/Downgrades & transfers must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 2. After this date, all changes will need to be made at the Expo. To make changes, sign into your RunSignUp account. Questions? Please email media@carmelmarathon.com.

Virtual Registration

Gear Check
-
Gear Check is located in the finisher's area and available to participants in all events. The ONLY approved gear check bag will be the bag you receive at Packet Pickup. PLEASE REMEMBER to write your bib number on your bag!

Pacers
-
Our pacers will line up in the corrals with signs indicating their pace and target finish time. Joining a pace group is free of charge and no additional registration is required – simply show up at the start line and introduce yourself to your pacer!

Age Group Awards
-
All four event distances will offer unique awards to the top three in each age group. All awards are distributed at the Results Tent located toward the end of the finishers chute. Your award will be given to you when you print out your results ticket. Reminder: we do not mail awards!

Indiana Spine Group Pancake Village

Our good friends and long-time sponsors at the Indiana Spine Group will be grilling pancakes and sausages in the finisher's area. The FREE pancakes will be prepared in to-go containers for you to enjoy anywhere. Please remember to say thank you to Indiana Spine Group team!

Thanks to our friends at Athletico, the massage/recovery tent is back! After your race, the massage tent will be located behind the results tent.

Enjoy a complimentary Boston Beer Company beverage or Truly Hard Seltzer on us at the Boston Beer Company/Truly Hard Seltzer Beer Garden, located at the Carter Green. Valid IDs are required to enter the Beer Garden. If your complimentary beer is not enough, our staff will have additional options on draft to buy. Enjoy live music from pop/rock band Phone Club and toast to celebrate your day!

CRRG Race Bandit Policy
-
Running with any bib other than your own is against the rules and detrimental to the integrity of our sport. Doing so will result in a two-year ban from all CRRG Events races. If you are running with a club or a team, there is potential for Club or Team penalties as well. We allow participant transfers and deferrals for a fee. Please respect the sport and all participants' hard training!
